For the most enjoyment from the high quality photographic images on our screen savers, be sure your monitor display is set to True (24 bit) or High (16 bit) color, with contrast and brightness adjusted to highlight the images fully. TO INSTALL: ---------------------- The programs EASY INSTALL wizard will pretty well take care of everything for you - just follow the on screen prompts as directed. When it's done installing, permit the program to make this Petmousepads.com screen saver your "active" screen saver. When it displays the settings box for your screen savers, just hit "preview" for an instant review your new saver, otherwise choose "OK" to exit the screen saver setting box with your new screen saver all ready to go. USER OPTIONS: ---------------------------- You can get back to the control panel for your screen savers anytime by moving your mouse to an empty area of your screen and clicking your RIGHT mouse button, then selecting PROPERTIES, and then LEFT click on the folder tab near the windows top marked SCREEN SAVER to open that window. Now click the SETTINGS button to proceed. By clicking the right column of items shown in the OPTIONS dialog box, you may easily control the many User Chosen Options available including: image size, image order, delay, background colors, transition effects, password protection, captions(some titles), and more. Image Quality Options: Note that the default Image Size setting is "fit to screen", and if you use a screen size larger than 640 x 480, the images may show less quality and some signs of "jaggies" caused by the stretching of compressed digital images. Selecting SIZE - ORIGINAL will set all images to 640x480, with any remaining screen area being filled with a colored "border". Sound: In response to results of an extensive customer survey, most of our screensavers have no sounds or music so they may be enjoyed in a home or office environment equally. The few exceptions are noted at time of install. If your saver has music, you can turn it on or off by using the MUTE control located in your screensavers settings Control Panel described above. Please note that music files may not be compatible with all computer systems due to different sound card configurations. Change Screensavers: To select another screensavers already installed on your computer to use, access your Windows Control Panel as directed above, then LEFT click on the folder tab near the windows top marked SCREEN SAVER to open that window. Use the scrolling menu on the left side of that window to choose any other saver listed and then LEFT click on it to select it, and click on APPLY or OK to make that your new default saver. Uninstalling:If you should ever wish to uninstall the program totally, just use your Windows Settings/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and locate the title you wish to remove and click on it to uninstall. This program comes with a full uninstall program. Screen Saver Control & Quick Start Options: If you selected the option when you first installed your screen saver, you can access the full featured "SCREEN SAVER CONTROL" program that sits in your toolbar as a little monitor icon with a half moon on it, by clicking on that icon anytime with your RIGHT mouse button and making one of the many selections offered there. Also, if chosen during the installation, clicking on the SCREEN SAVER QUICK START icon on your desktop will launch your screensaver instantly and the saver will run until you move your mouse or hit any key.
