In Loving Memory ofCURTIS PAUL ILASENKO
My father Curtis peacefully passed away at his home in Daytona Beach, while surrounded by his loving family after fighting and surviving a battle with AML Leukemia for the last three years. After losing our son Christopher Scott to premature stillbirth last summer, losing my Father has been devastating. Our family life and business life has of course been in constant turmoil for the last year, and we sincerely appreciate the kind prayers and patient understanding of our valuable customers. We are slowly beginning to get back to work on the backlog of projects that had been put on hold and our goal is to have the website and all products updated fully by September 1st. Please come back and visit to see the changes that we will be making starting in June and as we continue to update things all summer long. On a very personal note, I intend to use this page of our website as a tribute to my Father, who served as my inspiration and my hero for all my life. I will be adding some private thoughts, memories, and experiences as we are going down the road of mourning such a personal loss in the hopes that our experiences in dealing with grief may help someone else out there find solace and comfort in knowing they are not alone in how they feel after a major loss of a loved one. I was blessed to have had such a wonderful, loving Father who showed me so many things in life. And we were all blessed to have him with us for three years after he first battled for his life with Leukemia and left the hospital after 70 days and 1 miracle. His strong will to live and his positive love of life was an inspiration to all who met him and a source of loving comfort to those of us in his family. Dad loved to dance, fly stunt kites, hang out at the beach here in Daytona, party at Jimmy Buffett concerts and most of all to spend time with his family and his loving wife Kim. To watch him and Mom together was to see true love in action. To see them move together across a Ballroom Dance floor was to see pure magic in motion...
