SENEGAL PARROT - " Rainbow Senegal "

Hailing from Africa, the little Senegal Parrot is a real clown and people pleaser. Senegal's are often fond of hanging upside down and swinging wildly in a "crazy Amazon" fashion. They can become gifted talkers with cute little parrot voices they love to use, and they seem to love whistling good tunes or creating their own songs using combinations of household noises. Some are shy, but in my experiences, most are outgoing and will gladly go to whomever will pay them attention or scratch that spot on top of their head that they love to have rubbed. Some Senegal's can become fiercely loyal and deeply attached to one particular member of the household and they can have some of the same complex emotional reactions that Greys are famous for. These birds are also not afraid of many other birds, so always be sure your Senegal is not attacking your Macaw when they are out and about !
