M96 Mini Macaw Severe Macaws Oh Dear Severe Macaw

Often considered a Mini - Macaw, the Severe Macaw is more like a "Medium" Macaw in my eyes. He's a lot bigger than a Yellow Collar or Hahn's, but he's much smaller than a full sized Blue & Gold Macaw. The Severe Macaw is a fairly uncommon pet bird primarily because many bird lovers just are not familiar with these smaller Macaws and just how good of pets they can be. The important thing to remember is that a Severe Macaw is 100% Macaw Parrot - just a bit smaller. These birds are full blooded Macaws in every way - they can be little clowns who beg for attention, they can be pretty talkative when they feel like it, and if they are in a bad mood - they can be just as stubborn as the bigger Macaws !
